Yesterday her tummy got really really big and now today after a some internet research and a quick visit to pets at home Bon Bon is all ready to give birth!
I have got her a really huge hamster house with lots of bedding and she has been frantically making a nest for and hour now and she is still going!
I am pretty sure the babies are coming so i did my last clean out for two weeks earlier today, no sawdust as this can be irritating for new babies skin just safe bedding tissue for the floor and plain napkin paper for nest building!
Bons has got a really huge pink bowl full of dwarf hamster mix with added sunflower seeds! and a small bowl of boiled egg white for protein!
I have left in the wheel for her but mounted it quite high so no babies cant get up!
I will be waiting for the sound of babies tomorrow!
